Jurançon is a hidden region of SW France, the wines of which are honeyed and ripe with a dreamy vanilla bonbon aroma. Cami Salié is a prestige cuvée, a mix of Gros and Petit Manseng, high grown, so it’s rich and lush underscored by tight minerality.

The Story Behind the Bottle
Jurançon is an amazing white from SW France that offers you a palate of flavours beyond imagining. Luscious, ripe, weighty and mouthfilling, with an array of dreamy bonbon aromas, cut through by a dazzling mineral freshness. Tony Laithwaite discovered one 40 years ago and our good winemaker friend out there today, Lionel Osmin, has now found us the fabulous Cami Salié. It’s a very fine white from north of Jurançon, close to a route along which Salies de Bearn salt used to be transported to Pau, hence the wine’s name. It is a blend of Gros and Petit Manseng, both high grown, but one from Monein terroir for richness, the other from Chapelle de Rousse for a fresher style. Aged 10 months on lees, this wine needs no oak. A very special cuvée.
