An elegant, creamy fizz from one of the top Champagne houses, Pol Roger Vintage Brut captures the great style and finesse that the house is known for.
Founded in 1849, Pol Roger has built a reputation as one of the finest producers in Champagne, renowned for its elegance and quality. Pol Roger’s Champagnes have been enjoyed by royalty, world leaders and glitterati from the very first release and their most notable advocate was Sir Winston Churchill. Churchill was a great ambassador for the brand, being one of its most loyal customers, even naming a winning racehorse after Odette Pol-Roger, the wife of Jacques Pol-Roger, head of the firm at that time.
The 2019 is made exclusively with grapes from the finest Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims, the Grande Vallée de la Marne and the Côtes des Blancs. It was aged for over 6 years before release, which has added to its depth and complexity. Superb fruit, spice and elegant minerality with a long, creamy mousse.
