Flavour Profile
Fruity, elegant and fresh, Domaine Régis Fèvre Petit Chablis is a racy, old-vine Chablis from our friends, the Dampt family.
Domaine Régis Fèvre is a small estate in Fyé, the village where Bernard Dampt first started his family estate. When it came up for sale in 2017, brothers Emannuel and Eric Dampt jumped at the chance of expanding their domaine with some exceptionally fine vineyards from their neighbour. That included Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards, as well as vines over 70 years old for their ‘standard’ Chablis and Petit Chablis.
From vines just above Grand Cru Les Clos, this Petit Chablis shows lovely intensity, freshness and poise. It’s from a rare vintage that offered both quality and quantity. Serve cool in large-bowled glasses and pair with fine seafood, such as salmon en croute or with white meats.
