Le Presbytère is a very special micro-cuvée claret from Tony Laithwaite’s Castillon estate, Château La Clarière.

Pure Cabernet Sauvignon, unheard of on the Right Bank, aged in fine oak barriques and also amphorae, it’s a dense, velvety, textured red that is showing deliciously well now, but will also age magnificently too.

Beautifully presented here in its three-bottle wooden case, the bottles dipped in wax and wrapped in tissue paper, the wine is offered to Vineyard Partners with 30% off. That’s £35 a bottle – price held from last year.
