Le Rosé de La Clarière (magnum) 2024

If you come to visit us at Château La Clarière in the heat of summer, we’re sure to offer you a well-chilled glass of rosé. And it could well be poured from a mighty magnum – nothing says welcome quite like this bottle! Although most of our grapes are used to make red wine, we always set aside some fruit to make a small quantity of this rosé. So, it’s quite rare – and rarer still in magnum. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, slowly cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks. It’s the best way to capture such delicate summer berry fruit and zippy citrus freshness. This is subtle, gently aromatic and every bit as pretty as its label suggests. Lovely solo, but we usually serve it to guests with seafood canapés.
