Flavour Profile
Patagonia is fast gaining a reputation as the home of some of Argentina’s finest wines. While Malbec and Pinot Noir may be its best-known exports so far, “with a latitude similar to many of New Zealand’s world-famous wine regions, it is no surprise that Sauvignon Blanc also does fabulously well”. (Decanter).
Familia Schroeder set up in this most southerly of wine regions in 2003 and the winery is now run by the founder’s son Roberto and grandson Herman. Working alongside head winemaker Leonardo Puppato, they “make wines that master sommeliers should love” (The Wine Advocate).
Our customers love their wines too, so we can’t wait to get this Sauvignon in your glass. Crafted from the grapes of vines watered by pure Andes snowmelt, it is exceptionally fresh and bursting with gooseberry and lime flavours. Excellent with meaty fish dishes or as an apéritif.
