Excelsior Estate has been producing top quality wines for 150 years, since its foundation in the Robertson Wine Valley in 1870 by the De Wet family. Five generations of the family have looking after the estate and today it is still run with the philosophy that great wine is made in the vineyard.
The Coach House is all fruity and fresh, no oak and brimming with juicy plums and a hint of violets. It’s deliciously drinkable and smooth – a top bottle to enjoy on its own or with a light lunch, grilled meats or a caramelised onion and goat’s cheese tart.
