A true family affair, it comes from a single plot in Moulin-à-Vent in Beaujolais, owned by renowned grower Richard Rottiers and crafted by his sister, Amandine Marchive, at Malandes in Chablis.

The family are pioneers in a project helping winemakers tackle climate change head on. Their secret weapon is Voltis – a clever new grape first used in Champagne that thrives in warmer, wetter weather and needs far less intervention. That means gentler vineyard work, lighter tractor use and a much smaller footprint.

The wine itself more than lives up to the mission – bursting with lemon zest, crisp apple and a clean mineral snap that echoes the classic Malandes style. Bright, refreshing and brilliantly food-friendly, it’s a bottle that feels as pure as its purpose.
